Abstract
The article presents the organization and formation of sanitary education in the field of dentistry in the 20-30s of the twentieth century among the population of Russia, aimed at disseminating medical knowledge on proper hygienic care of teeth and oral mucous membranes. In order to educate and consolidate children's hygiene skills, posters were widely used in the classroom for visualization.
