Materials and methods: the search for Russian and foreign literary sources on the research topic. Depth of search: 10 years (2007-2017). An analytical, historical and monographic methods were used in the study to realize the goal. Results: There is an information about the evaluation of the effect on the duration, pregnancy outcomes and psychoemotional state of pregnant women following factors: body mass index; weight gain during pregnancy; age of the pregnant woman; level of physical activity before and during pregnancy; smoking before / during pregnancy; use of alcohol before / during pregnancy. The conclusion. The main risk factors were identified.
