The results of an anonymous survey of 1045 people aged 60 years and older were analyzed. The results of this study lead to the conclusion that the largest share, both men and women recognize the fact of responsibility for their health, is seen in the age group of 60-64 years, with increasing age the proportion, which imposes the primary responsibility for the health of the state and the health care system, that is passive, increases. There are no gender differences in trends, but women are generally more responsible about their health, less likely to shift responsibility to the state and the health system.
