ORGANIZATION OF DRUG SUPPLY IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The provision of medicines to the population is an integral part of the state health system. Nevertheless, the stability of the provision of social guarantees by the state, the level of economic development of the country during the developing pharmaceutical market, which, unlike the markets of other goods, has its own characteristics: scale, wide range, knowledge intensity, long cycle of drug development, remain in the list of the main factors affecting the current state of drug provision. The review presents an analysis of the structure of the pharmaceutical market in the Russian Federation, and provides a brief history of the issue of changes in the field of improving the drug supply system. The author analyzes the issues of regulatory regulation, gives the basic concepts and definitions, as well as innovations and issues of financing in the system of drug provision
