The evidence base for those mechanisms effectiveness is thought to be incomplete. Especially it is poor for clinical quality improvement point of view. There is small evidence of positive association between quality improvement mechanisms and clinical outcomes. It is also limit application of those programs in health care. The materials were taken from the studies that evaluate the benefits of those programs for hospitals. Analyzed studies were focused on certain hospital performance indicators. The most of indicators were relate to quality of hospital management.
