A brief overview of the available scientific literature, regulatory framework is given. Considering the rapidly developing trends and mechanisms of public health, there is a need to substantiate the concept of children's risks, which can describe this phenomenon for further use. The purpose of the study is to study and analyze the concept of risk and the applicability of the concept of child risk in public health. The main research methods are the study and generalization of experience, the analytical method. The generally accepted definitions were analyzed, the regulatory and legal documentation related to this concept was studied.
