This is especially true of doctors of pre-retirement age, the morbidity and mortality among whom is high in the working age.<br />The purpose of the study is to study the structure, dynamics and mortality rate of doctors of pre-retirement age in the Republic of Tatarstan.<br />Materials and methods. The study was conducted in the period from 2018 to 2022. The pre-retirement age group corresponded to the age range of 5059 years for female doctors and 5564 years for men. The number of doctors of the studied age group was taken from the Federal Register of Medical Workers. The study of the mortality of doctors was carried out by copying the data into a specially designed card from the Medical death Certificate. 295 cases were analyzed for the period 20182022. Statistical analysis was carried out by the Stattech 3.1.0 software package.<br />Results. Over a 5-year period, the number of doctors in the study group decreased by 1,190 people or by 31.6%. The number of male doctors decreased by 239 people or 21.9%, and female doctors by 951 people or 35.6%. Over the period from 2018 to 2020, the mortality rate among male and female doctors increased sharply against the background of the coronavirus pandemic by 3.8 times. From 2018 to 2022, 295 doctors of pre-retirement age died, which is 7.8% in relation to the entire study group and 24.8% in relation to those who left the register of doctors in 5 years.<br />Conclusions. The data obtained indicate a two-fold higher mortality rate of doctors of pre-retirement age compared to the population of this age group.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>public health</kwd><kwd>medical determinant of public health</kwd><kwd>personnel component</kwd><kwd>medical personnel</kwd><kwd>human potential of health care</kwd><kwd>doctor's potential</kwd><kwd>labor resource</kwd><kwd>working age</kwd><kwd>doctors of pre-retirement age</kwd><kwd>mortality</kwd><kwd>risk factors</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>общественное здоровье</kwd><kwd>медицинская детерминанта общественного здоровья</kwd><kwd>кадровый компонет</kwd><kwd>медицинские кадры</kwd><kwd>человеческий потенциал здравоохранения</kwd><kwd>потенциал врача, трудовой ресурс</kwd><kwd>трудоспособный возраст</kwd><kwd>врачи предпенсионного возраста</kwd><kwd>смертность</kwd><kwd>факторы риска</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front>

<back><ref-list><ref id="B1">1.<mixed-citation>Golovko E.A., Nesina I.A., Smirnova E.L., Poteryaeva E.L., Figurenko N.N., Demeshko K.O.
