A retrospective study was carried out. An analysis of the course of pregnancy, childbirth and the condition of newborns of 2665 women with GDM observed on the basis of antenatal clinics in Ivanovo in the period from 2014 to 2024 was carried out. complications and outcomes of pregnancy, such as early and late threatened miscarriage, vomiting of pregnant women, premature abruption of the normally located placenta, placental insufficiency, pathological weight gain, diabetic fetopathy, prenatal rupture of amniotic fluid, premature birth, the condition of the fetus improves according to the Apgar scale. By 2024, women with GDM have increased indicators such as isthmic cervical insufficiency, anemia, hypertensive disorders, fetal growth retardation, insufficient weight gain during pregnancy, a double contour of the head, a clinically narrow pelvis during childbirth, and congenital malformations of the fetus. Timely diagnosis of GDM and pregnancy complications, continuity of specialized medical care will reduce the incidence of adverse pregnancy complications and improve perinatal outcomes.
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>pregnancy, gestational diabetes mellitus, pregnancy complications, perinatal outcomes.</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>беременность, гестационный сахарный диабет, осложнения беременности, перинатальные исходы.</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Saravanan P.
