There are presented the main requirements for the new concept of postgraduate studies, as well as the problems are identified and the ways to improve the training of postgraduate students in modern conditions are proposed. The article analyzes the current legal documents governing the admission and training of personnel in graduate school, presents the experience of the Leading Researcher Federal Scientific State Budgetary Institution «N. A.
