Abstract
The article presents the scientific and practical contribution of the Sanitary House and malaria station to the organization of malaria control and prevention in the Saratov region in the 20s of the twentieth century. There are considered forms and methods of sanitary and educational work of employees of the House of Sanitary Education and doctors-lecturers aimed at improving hygienic knowledge and sanitary culture among urban and rural residents of the region.
