Abstract
The available information on the use of information technologies in healthcare of the Russian Federation is considered. The article describes the implementation of a number of major federal projects in the field of healthcare informatization, which made it possible to provide infrastructure and basic equipment, communication channels and software to a large proportion of medical organizations, connect them into a single secure information network and ensure the exchange and accumulation of data on the work of the healthcare system of the Russian Federation. The problems and possibilities of the development of informatization of the healthcare industry, including with the help of artificial intelligence, are discussed.
