Accessibility and quality assessment of medical and social rehabilitation of disabled people due to occupational injuries and diseases

Abstract


In 2021—2022, a sociological study was conducted among victims at work who have disabilities due to occupational injury or disease. The total number of respondents was 544. The purpose of this study was to study the availability and quality of medical and social rehabilitation of disabled people for this group of reasons living in the Arkhangelsk region. The study showed that 15,3% of disabled people are completely dissatisfied with the developed rehabilitation program, 58,8% are only partially satisfied, 8,1% appealed the decision of the bureau of medical and social expertise. The reasons for dissatisfaction with the rehabilitation program are: non-compliance with the needs of recommended medicines, prosthetic and orthopedic products and technical means of rehabilitation, medical devices.
