During the research there was performed an analysis of the regulatory legal acts that have regulated the organization of cancer care since 1945, the main stages of regulatory regulation of the organization of cancer services have been defined. It can be noted that the 70-80s of the last century became a period of structural development of the cancer service and the orders of the Soviet period formed the cancer service and determined its structure. The political and social changes that took place in the post-Soviet period, so changes in the system of financing medical care, did not have a significant impact on the structure of the organization of the cancer service. Under these conditions, the cancer service develops and adapts to the conditions of a changing external environment.
