Innovative potential of blockchain technology in medicine: SWOT analysis in the context of healthcare digitalization

Abstract


Annotation. Blockchain technology is a promising area in digital healthcare, opening up new opportunities for medical data management, logistics, and interactions between system participants. This article analyzes the innovative potential of this technology in medicine, including its advantages and limitations, as well as its practical applicability. It substantiates the need to improve digital legislation, create pilot zones, strengthen information security and conduct interdisciplinary training. A SWOT analysis is used to formulate strategic guidelines for implementing blockchain technology in healthcare, concluding that realizing this innovative potential requires a coordinated strategy and an interdisciplinary approach.
