Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of medical and social work aimed at developing integrated verbal and non-verbal communications of employees with hearing impairments in the context of inclusive employment. Based on the concept of inclusive employment, which views the workplace as a platform for the joint participation of people with different abilities, and on the basis of in-depth semi-structured interviews with experts, the article proposes key areas of medical and social work: psychological support, training in communication strategies, creating an inclusive environment, improving staff competence, mentoring, and systematic monitoring. It is concluded that the development of integrated verbal and non-verbal communication among employees with hearing impairments in inclusive workplaces is both an applied task and a sociological discourse on the processes of inclusion as a form of social integration.
