In work the feeding characteristics of conductors of passenger cars of railway transport as one of key risk factors.

The authors have developed a computer program to work out new documents of otorhinolaryngology department. The program provides means to work out new documents and informational fields of the database of patients without programming. The carried-out scientific work is aimed at improving the quality of medical care on the basis of automation of information exchange process in otorhinolaryngology department and between institutions and organizations of health care system. The main result of the scientific work is the development of otolaryngologist automated workplace allowing to automate the process of managing the main functions of a medical department . The scope of this research is presented by practical healthcare. Results can be also used in training of doctors.

It is shown the basic principles of work payment used in practice of the medical organizations of modern Russia are considered. Most important factors of motivation of health workers to improvement of quality of the services rendered by them is the salary level. Each of the existing wages systems of health workers has the merits and demerits. Irrespective of a work payment method achievement of high level of material level of the worker shall be its main goal.

The article identifies the main development trends and factors affecting the demographic situation in the Samara region. The objectives of the research are based on the study of Rosstat indicators, the concept of Russia's demographic policy and periodical press materials, which allow us to assess the dynamics of demographic indicators and their socio-economic significance.

The article is devoted to the author's formulation of the concept of "penitentiary hygiene" and its branches. Penitentiary hygiene and sanitation is a scientifically based complex of medical and non-medical measures aimed at preserving and strengthening the health of persons who execute and serve sentences. The achievements of penitentiary hygiene will not achieve their goal, they will not be able to preserve the health of the convict, who will neglect the principles of personal penitentiary hygiene. The wrong attitude of the convicted person to personal penitentiary hygiene worsens his health. Special penitentiary hygiene is the branch of penitentiary hygiene. Studies the preservation, improvement of health and efficiency of the penitentiary system; Develops and conducts preventive and anti-epidemic measures; Adopts hygienic standards and requirements, taking into account the peculiarities of the service in the penitentiary system.

The motherhood’s and childhood’s protection was and remains a priority in healthcare. Development of measures for healthcare improvement is possible only with detailed study of health affecting factors. Our study was organized for evaluation the health predictors of and the quality of life in pregnant women.

Based on the survey data, 976 young people aged 19.79 ± 0.11 years showed that recognizing responsibility for one's health does not automatically lead to a change in behavior with regard to increasing physical activity, which gives grounds for revising traditional approaches to dissemination activities principles of a healthy lifestyle among young people. Achieving a high level of responsibility for one's own health does not guarantee an increase in the prevalence of health in saving forms of behavior. However, it should be noted that a high level of physical activity, determined by objective criteria, is observed almost exclusively among those surveyed who recognize themselves as responsible for their health. Thus, measures to increase the level of responsibility for one's health should be considered as the first stage of the program to increase the level of physical activity among young people.
